Somewhere beyond the clover
Dear Avery,
I stopped by for a moment and stayed rather longer than I meant to. Your world is full of enormous things. I spent several minutes admiring what turned out to be a teaspoon. I am a traveler, a finder of small wonders, and, on a good day, a reasonably tidy keeper of coins. Today was not a good day for the coins. One rolled under my boot, and the rest have been laughing about it ever since. If you spot a little wonder today, take a moment to enjoy it. A clover leaf. A funny cloud. A kind word you were not expecting. Not every treasure needs a chest. I must be going. There is a path to follow and a very important appointment with a very ordinary sandwich. Wishing you a day full of good surprises.
